Greetings and welcome to Alameda Little League. We are affiliated with Little League International. Little League takes a developmental approach to baseball as new skills are presented in each division. It starts with T-Ball and ends with Intermediate. Ages 4-6 register in T-ball or Farm. Some 7 year olds who have not played before may also register in Farm.

Age 7-12 register in “competitive.” That means that they will attend Evaluations and be drafted onto a team based on age and skill level. 7 year olds play in A Division with 8 and 9 year olds who are not drafted into AA. AA consists of 8-10 year olds who are not drafted into AAA. AAA consists of 9-11 year olds. Majors is for all 12 year olds and some 11 year olds, the 11 year olds who don’t get drafted into the Majors play AAA. Intermediate is for 13 year olds, and Challenger Division is for our special needs kids.
